Paula Gibson is the co-owner and co-founder of Brighter Futures Therapy Center. She has been an Occupational Therapist for nearly two decades and has worked with clients across the life span. For Paula, it has been a privilege and an honor to have the opportunity to work with clients and families in our community and surrounding communities and to be a part of improving function, independence, quality and success with daily life engagement.
Dana graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a master’s degree in Communication Disorders- Speech Pathology as well as a Rank l in Communication Disorders and Director of Special Education Certification. Dana started Lake Cumberland Child Development in 1999 and has continued as a Pediatric Speech Therapist and Primary Evaluator from 1995-present. Currently, she is the Chairmen of District Early Intervention Committee and the CO-Owner and CO-founder of Brighter Futures Therapy Center.

Alan Brashear is a Positive Behavior Support Specialist at Brighter Futures Therapy Center. He received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Therapeutic Recreation from Eastern Kentucky University. Alan has forty years of experience working with special needs adults and children. He appreciates the opportunity to be able to help individuals gain a sense of independence.

Morgan graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2007 with a Master's of Science in Physical Therapy degree. Morgan has a special interest in neurological disorders and disease and has practiced in a variety of settings. Morgan is interested in growing her knowledge and clinical experience to better help kids as well as adults to reach their goals to live life to the fullest.

Kasey Collette received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University. Kasey enjoys helping individuals of all ages achieve independence, meaning, and satisfaction in all aspects of their lives despite limitations and or challenges. Kasey loves to create fun filled therapy sessions to help individuals flourish and strives to help all individuals live life to the fullest by helping them build necessary skills to participate fully in school and the community.

Rachel Dalton is a Speech-Language Pathologist that graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Master's degree and Rank 1 in Communication Disorders. She has worked with children that have articulation, language, voice or fluency disorders in the public schools for 12 years. Rachel has also worked with individuals from birth to adults with mild to severe speech and language disabilities.

PBS Wavier Clinical Coordinator/BX Support Consultant Barbey is a graduate of Lindsey Wilson School of Professional Counseling. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in mental health counseling, she went on to obtain a M. Ed. in Counselor Education and then received autism training from CPI Institute. Barbey enjoys working with clients of all ages. She has an animated personality that keeps learning fun but structured.
